Jessica Seypt
Operations Manager, Unterföhring
"The thing I particularly love about my job is the variety: new projects, new issues, new challenges - that's the fantastic thing about it."
In her role as Operations Manager, Jessica Seypt works at a particularly critical interface within the company. In close collaboration with other departments, she and her team coordinate all the elements involved in the launch of new products for Kabel Deutschland's TV, internet and telephony services.
Volker Herrig
Service technician in the Lower Saxony/Bremen region
"I am responsible for seeing to it that everything runs smoothly along the entire transmission chain - right up to the multimedia jack in the subscriber's living room. I enjoy the constant challenges of my job because they keep me on my toes."
Volker Herrig has been in the trade for the past 38 years - starting as an apprentice with the German Post Office and then working for Deutsche Telekom before coming to Kabel Deutschland.
Torsten Schmidt
Complaints Management Call Center Agent, Erfurt
"Working in Complaints Management, I primarily deal with problem cases. That can of course be hard work. Sometimes all that is needed to resolve the problem is to give the customer a little attention."
Torsten Schmidt is a member of a special unit dealing with customer satisfaction. Working as part of a 16-strong "complaints team" at the Customer Service Center in Erfurt, he processes and responds to written complaints from customers from all areas served by Kabel Deutschland.
